Herbal Phentermine
Increases Energy - Suppresses Appetite
Herbal Phentermine Overview
The manufacturer of Herbal Phentermine claims this non-prescription diet pill has been designed to create similar effects to those of the popular prescription phentermine version. They go on to say this weight loss supplement works to increase metabolism, suppress appetite, burn calories, and increase energy. As with other weight loss supplements they encourage a healthy diet and moderate exercise program for maximum results.
What strikes me about Herbal Phentermine is the number of ingredients. There are surprisingly few when compared to similar
appetite suppressant
diet pills such as
TrimSpa
and
Leptoprin.
But this doesn't mean the pill isn't effective! Actually it's nice to see a clean cut no-nonsense weight loss pill, especially one without any trademarked ingredients that serve only to confuse the customer. With Herbal Phentermine the main weight loss ingredient appears to be
green tea
and camellia sinensis, which are almost the same thing – green tea is derived from the camellia sinensis shrub. Green tea isn't only rich in valuable anti-oxidants but it may produce a mild thermogenic effect, increasing caloric expenditure.
The bottom line? Hard to tell, I can't comment too much on this pill because I have little customer feedback regarding its effectiveness. I do like many of the ingredients included in the diet pill, as there are clearly ingredients in it which work to increase metabolism, suppress appetite, and increase energy. Will it work to promote weight loss? I think it may help, but as with all diet pills it should be taken in combination with a
healthy diet plan
and moderate exercise routine. I maintain the only true way to permanently lose weight is to adopt new lifestyle habits - supplements or no supplements.
Herbal Phentermine Dosage
It's important to always read and follow the directions on the product label before taking any dietary supplements. Often manufactures change their formulas which may or may not result in a change with the recommended dosage.
At the time of writing the recommended dosage for Herbal Phentermine is to take 2 tablets per day, 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the afternoon. If you have trouble sleeping at night reduce your dosage to 1 tablet per day until your body adjusts to the supplement.
Herbal Phentermine Ingredients
Herbal Phentermine surprisingly contains very few ingredients. True enough all the ingredients contained in the pills are likely not listed on the site, however they do list the major ones – at least I assume that's the case! To be honest I get suspicious when the proportions of each ingredient are not listed, which is the case with Herbal Phentermine.
The ingredients which are listed on the manufacturer's website have been associated in one way or another with promoting weight loss. The ingredients listed are:
l-carnitine,
green tea,
camellia sinensis, alpha lipoic acid, bioperine, piper nigrum, and biotin.
It's interesting the manufacturer mentions green tea and camellia sinensis separately, since green tea is derived from the camellia sinensis shrub! Perhaps these two are mentioned separately in order to suggest camellia sinensis hasn't been processed enough to classify it as green tea? Whatever the reason it's an excellent ingredient to include, both
green tea
and camellia sinensis contain potent anti-oxidants which are pivotal in protecting healthy cells. Green tea may also be effective at increasing thermogenesis, thereby promoting efficient burning of calories.
As for the other ingredients:
- l-carnitine,
may increase fat oxidation through efficient transport of long-chain fatty acids into the "cell furnace" where fat is converted into energy;
- alpha lipoic acid, acts as an anti-oxidant and plays an important role in energy production and protecting healthy cells;
- bioperine and piper nigrum (or piperine), enhances the absorption of nutrients by increasing the body's metabolic rate, which may also positively affect thermogenesis; and
- biotin, necessary for efficient metabolism of fats, carbohydrates and proteins, it may also help to regulate blood sugar.
Herbal Phentermine Side Effects
The manufacturer for Herbal Phentermine doesn't list any side effects, they suggest that because Herbal Phentermine is 100% natural there are no known side effects. If this were true then why does the dosage recommendation say "if you have trouble sleeping at night reduce your dosage to one tablet per day?" Hmmm ... maybe I'll go out on a limb here and suggest Herbal Phentermine may cause sleeplessness? Heck, I'll go further than that and suggest that Herbal Phentermine contains
caffeine.
This is very likely since
green tea
extract and camellia sinensis can both be standardized for caffeine, a potent fat burning stimulate and appetite suppressant. So if this is the case then the side effects of Herbal Phentermine will be similar to those associated with moderate doses of caffeine, including sleeplessness, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, nausea, irritability, heart palpitations, headaches, diarrhea, tremors, and vomiting.
If in fact Herbal Phentermine does contain
caffeine
then these pills may cause mild withdrawal symptoms when you finally decide to discontinue using them. Such symptoms may include headache, fatigue, depression, irritability, difficulty concentrating, muscle pain, and in extreme cases flu-like symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. For this reason you may consider rationing enough Herbal Phentermine pills so over the last couple weeks you slowly reduce the dosage down to one pill a day and then perhaps to even one pill every second day.
Is Herbal Phentermine Safe?
I wasn't able to find any reports of adverse reactions to Herbal Phentermine, and of course the manufacturer claims it's 100% natural and safe. I do, however, suspect there is a good deal of caffeine in this weight loss supplement. Both
green tea
and camellia sinensis can be standardized to contain very little caffeine, or they can be standardized to contain a lot.
Caffeine
itself is a potent fat burner and appetite suppressant, I would be surprised if the manufactures didn't take advantage of such an ingredient. Another clue is in the dosage recommendations, "if you have trouble sleeping at night reduce your dosage to one tablet per day" - yep, caffeine for sure. Caffeine isn't really that huge of a deal, however for those who react negatively to this ingredient you may want to avoid Herbal Phentermine or at least take it at a reduced dosage until you "feel it out".
